SUCCESSFUL ONLINE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES

We work with our clients to develop a clear Content and Information Management strategy, spend time understanding the user journey to meet this vision and then design, deploy and support a technology solution that continues to deliver a return on investment.

BAE Systems

Determined to keep pace with the digital age and present a consistent global brand and online customer journey, BAE Systems needed to consolidate over 250 websites globally onto one secure content management platform. The platform needed to be robust and have an innovative roadmap. Infomentum designed, developed, deployed and now support an ECM solution based on Oracle WebCenter and Infomentum Classification Engine (iCE). The first phase of the global roll out included an Arabic version. With total control over its online image, and teams around the world continuing to generate engaging content, the site has seen significant growth in traffic. Independent research has ranked BAE Systems website 11th in the FTSE 100 for Social Media and 6th for Web Presence.

McDonalds

The McDonalds HR team wanted to get more from its HR portal developed on Oracle WebCenter for the 80,000+ workforce. They turned to Infomentum to enhance the HR portal, providing a very simple and intuitive user-friendly interface to Oracle E-Business Suite. Now, HR processes have been streamlined, with staff able to easily access their personal information and view their training plan and progression through McDonalds. Infomentum is rolling the portal out to 1,200 UK restaurants followed by a European roll out. In addition, Infomentum is providing ongoing support and continues to carry out enhancements, providing staff with self-service HR solutions and reducing the cost of administering these processes.

Cancer Research UK

With multiple websites running on different technologies through separate agencies, Cancer Research UK had no single web presence and brand image and websites were time-consuming and costly to update. Infomentum created a common toolkit of templates and widgets, and migrated 25 websites and microsites onto Oracle WebCenter Content. The result is a single URL and brand image with a responsive design for desktop and mobile and a significantly enhanced user experience, especially for search. This consolidated website architecture has seen a significant increase in traffic and the cost to build new fundraising microsites has in some cases reduced by 80% as a result of using the common toolkit.

NASUWT

NASUWT was struggling to manage their public facing website, with a lack of assistance and support from their existing Oracle WebCenter partner, and editors facing usability issues with the way the system had been created. Infomentum now supports the NASUWT website, providing guidance on best practice when using Oracle WebCenter Content. Alongside this, Infomentum made recommendations and improvements to ease usability issues and developed custom widgets to allow social media integration on the website.

Hays

To maintain and extend its competitive advantage, Hays needed to provide an improved web experience for job seekers across 27 countries and 35 languages. Infomentum designed a semantics-driven and classification developed website based on Oracle WebCenter Portal, Content and Access Manager and the Infomentum Classification Engine (iCE), integrating it with 450 job boards and deploying Oracle Spatial to integrate with Google Maps. As a result, posting vacancies takes just minutes, traffic to the site has increased and candidate placement rates have improved.

Motability

Motability & Motability Operations set a challenging timeframe to rebuild their online customer experience to create a more engaging website fit for mobile and tablet users and was optimised for search engines. Infomentum redesigned and rebuilt the website using Oracle WebCenter Content within tight deadlines. Infomentum has created a single highly accessible and easy to navigate website, vastly improving the user experience. Motability can now easily add more content to the site in many different formats, including video. Search engine ranking has improved dramatically, as has user engagement. In the first year, the bounce rate dropped from 70% to just 18%, with visitors spending on average 10 minutes on the site (previously 2 minutes) viewing an average 7.49 pages (up from 1.59). Infomentum continue to support Motability through managed hosting of their website on Amazon Cloud.

Race for Life

Race for Life is Cancer Research UK’s flagship fundraising event, but the campaign website infrastructure was creating a significant cost whilst preventing the charity from maximising fundraising. In 2011, Infomentum redeveloped the site with a responsive design based on Oracle WebCenter including full CRM integration, event management, transaction processing and an online shop. To meet supporters’ needs, the site also integrates with Google Maps, JustGiving and social media sites. The Race for Life team now has full control over the site and can easily make immediate changes to improve the supporter experience. This has led to an increase in event registration, boosting fundraising potential.

EUMETSAT

Being an intergovernmental organisation, EUMETSAT needed to develop a clear ECM strategy to create a more collaborative working environment. Infomentum conducted a Content and Information Management Strategic Assessment focused on providing a clear roadmap for a paperless office, and then used document management with scanning and document capture to migrate all content onto Oracle WebCenter, creating a single, easy-to-use platform. As a result of this study, Infomentum also implemented a company-wide document management solution. The project included the migration of hundreds of thousands of document and digital media from another platform. Infomentum supported EUMETSAT adopt the new solution with a smooth transition. Infomentum continues to provide ongoing support, including working with EUMETSAT’s internal teams on their website development.
