Salesforce Functional Lead Consultant

Full-time – London - Hybrid

This is a very versatile role where a multitude of challenges will be encountered, from technical to soft skills. This means opportunities to think out-of-the-box will present themselves daily, all the while maintaining the overall solution and business requirements of the solution. The role presents itself within a team of highly skilled people, requiring an equally matched posture as well as a collaborative work methodology. On some occasions, on-site presence will be needed, offering direct contact with the client and the business itself.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Salesforce implementation projects from discovery and planning to execution and deployment;
  • Performs “As-Is” and Fit/Gap analyses to map the Salesforce components offering and capabilities to the Client business needs;
  • Work with Salesforce architects to create scalable and sustainable solutions that meet client's needs and align with best practices;
  • Provide expertise and guidance to project teams;
  • Hands-on configuration and development of solutions through testing and delivery;
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients and project teams on Salesforce capabilities and best practices;
  • Work with project managers to manage project scope, timeline, and budget to ensure successful project delivery;
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights and recommendations to optimise their Salesforce investment;
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends, and provide thought leadership to the team and clients;
  • Mentor and coach junior consultants, providing guidance on technical skills, project management and consulting best practices.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Must be UK-based and have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years in order to be eligible for NPPV3 clearance.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience delivering, overseeing and ensuring the quality of Salesforce implementation projects end-to-end.
  • Salesforce administration experience including current certification and proven experience with the core product (essential!).
  • Additional current Salesforce certifications - including but not limited to Marketing Cloud Administrator, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant and Experience Cloud Consultant (desirable).
  • Experience with Salesforce PSS (desirable).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools such as Jira.

Soft skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and project teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
